JEE MAIN RESPONSE SHEET 2019

Jee main Response sheet provides you with the sheet you have an attempt in the Examination of jee main. It is provided by the exam conducting body, so that student will be able to know that how many numbers of attempt they have made is right and how many attempts they have made is wrong. Basically, the response sheet is the sheet which you have got in the examination. With the help of Response sheet along with Answer key, A candidate can calculate the marks, he/she will obtain. National testing Agency(NTA) has released the Question paper and Response sheet both.


The question paper is also an essential tool for the Candidate. Through Question paper, A student gets about the types of question asked in the exam. The exam conducting body release these documents such as Question paper, Response sheet and Answer sheet on the official website of jee main. Through this Article, we will be discussing the jee main 2019 response sheet and how to download it and other information related to the exam.

As the NTA has released the Response sheet for jan exam, now it is available online. A student should check their response sheet and can see the attempt made by them. The sheet is Available from 14 th Jan, A student must download it before the end date.

Steps to Download Response sheet

1. A candidate has to visit the official website of jee main

2. login with the Application number and Password/d.o.b

3. Enter the security pin

4. Go to the link of Response sheet and click into it.

5. Response sheet will appear, a student can download it.


Once a candidate is done with the download, they can view the sheet and check their attempt. And after the release of the Answer sheet, they will be able to calculate their marks. We will be discussing the calculation of marks below this. There are 90 questions in paper1 which contain 360 marks and in paper2 there are 82 questions contains 390 marks.

How to calculate the Marks using Response sheet and Answer key.
The candidate can calculate the Marks by the following methods. (number of correct answers)multiplied by 4-(the number of wrong answers)multiplied by 1. we have to note the total number of right and wrong question separately also the total number of attempted question. After that, we need to award 4 marks for each right answer and deduct 1 marks for every wrong answer. In that way, you can calculate your total marks.

Important note: For b.tech student appearing for jee main each paper (PCM) have 30 questions contains 120 marks. For B.arch/B.plan student, they have parts, Mathematics, Aptitude test and Drawing. Each paper contains 30 number of question with 120 marks. Also, A candidate must know that the Answer will be released two times. The first time release will be the provisional Answer sheet. And the final Answer key will be released in second. Candidate can also view each and every detail or the details of events and their tentative and final dates on the official website of Jee main 2019.
